What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a health profession that focuses on the treatment of the body without drugs or surgery. It optimizes human performance by enhancing the body’s function through different therapies and techniques. Chiropractors are trained to adjust the joints of the spine and extremities.  The spine houses the nervous system which controls all functions of the body.

Never been adjusted before?

That is quite alright!  There are many different types of adjustments – some are lower force and more gentle, and others are called high-velocity low-amplitude where you’ll sometimes hear the classic “crack” after it's performed.   Regardless of the type, an adjustment is a force delivered to a specific area of the spine that is not moving as it should to restore proper joint motion.

What should i expect?

First please contact us to either find out more or schedule your first visit!  Then fill out the form below before coming into the office, and bring your insurance information for the front desk.  On a typical day 1 we will take a complete and thorough history, draw out expectations and goals of care, assess you with different exams, and collect more information if needed.  If there are no red flags, we will most likely go over our findings and begin treatment.  We will re-evaluate along the way and tweak the treatment plan as you progress with care.

What does a normal treatment look like?

If there is no new complaint, we will take a brief history to note changes since last visit, assess, and most likely perform an adjustment/find your directional preference, and direct you through some rehab.  Patients are highly encouraged to take an active role in this process!  Our best work is done when you take the home-care recommendations seriously, speeding up the process of getting back to doing what you love!

I’ve heard that if I start then I’ll need it for the rest of my life, is that true?

At Chiro C·L·E, we work hard to improve your function so the same issues don’t keep reoccurring.  Often times people feel a true difference in their energy levels, aches and pain, stress levels, etc. when they’re being adjusted regularly.  So they decide continue with maintenance care as a preventative to make sure they keep feeling this good; looking at their health as an investment, not an expense. Maintenance care is encouraged to keep you in tip top shape and functioning your best!  As life happens and injuries sometimes occur, people are often able to bounce back more quickly if they are being treated regularly.
